Privacy Policy for the sDoktor Application

SKVID d.o.o. is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data of users of the sDoktor application and operates in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and relevant data protection laws. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. What data do we collect?
For the use of the sDoktor application, we collect and process only:

  • the user’s phone number (for identification and application functionality)
  • data necessary for the technical functioning of the system (technical logs)

SKVID d.o.o. does not have access to the user’s name, surname, address, city, postal code, or any other data the user may enter into the application. Such data is visible exclusively to the healthcare institution and the selected doctor, i.e., the entity to which the user chooses to present themselves, and which is an independent data controller.

We do not collect or process:
Any content of communication between the patient and the doctor, including messages and attachments. Such communication occurs exclusively between the user and the selected medical practice and is not accessible to SKVID nor to any third parties.

2. Who has access to your data?
Access to exchanged information is limited solely to:

  • the user (patient)
  • the selected healthcare institution / doctor

SKVID d.o.o. does not have access to the content of communication (messages, attachments, etc.) and does not process information exchanged between the user and the doctor.

3. How do we protect your data?

  • all data is encrypted during transmission and storage
  • the system uses certified security protocols
  • data is stored in SKVID’s data center in the Republic of Croatia
  • data is not shared with third parties, nor used for commercial, analytical, or marketing purposes

4. GDPR rights of users
Users have the right to: access, rectification, deletion of their phone number, restriction of processing, portability of the number, and filing a complaint with the competent authority.
Since SKVID does not process communication content, these rights apply exclusively to the user’s phone number and technical data.

5. Role of SKVID d.o.o.
SKVID acts as a technical service provider and does not access or process communication content, including messages or attachments exchanged between the user and the doctor. Our role is to ensure technical infrastructure, system stability, and the security of the communication platform — without accessing users’ personal messages.
